Hang the spirit of the Southern coastline on your tree...
When you look at the swirls, marks and color of these ornaments, it makes sense that Will Jones, their maker, was raised on the coast. Home was Saint Simons Island, Georgia, where he grew up watching the seasonal changes of the marshes, the light through the island’s live oaks, and the wild colors of the island's fiery sunsets.
"You can't get away from the South — especially the coast — without those natural influences showing up in your work,” Will says. “I must say, though, that my love for music has been the real game changer. The freedom my parents gave me to travel around and follow the music has exposed me to art across so many categories. In the end, I'm thankful for all the influences. I hope these pieces will bring color and joy to people's homes."
(One of the parents Will thanks, by the way, is Bitter Southerner co-founder Kyle Tibbs Jones. Ain’t nothing wrong with expanding the family business!)
Note to our customers: Every one of Will’s ornaments is truly unique. This year, they come in four color groups: Red, Red with Gold, Green, and Green with Gold
