When will my item ship?

We ship as quickly as we can, but there is a processing time, usually between 1-4 days, before your item is shipped. If the product is a PREORDER (it will be mentioned in the product name), please see the product description for further information.

Can I return or exchange my purchase, or a gift I received?

Yes! Please see Customer Support for help.

Please note, we cannot exchange or refund:

  •    Shipping charges (unless we have made a shipping error)
  •    Items in worn or damaged condition
  •    Returns or exchanges after 30 days of the ship date
  •    Final sale items / product subscriptions, such as the Coffee Club
  •    Gift cards

Where can I find tracking information?

Tracking info is sent to the email address you entered. Use tracking data to get your purchase’s ETA, see where it is, or to reach out to the USPS in the event of an issue.

Will every item in my order ship in the same package?

Not always. Some items are prints, and ship in poster tubes. If you ordered a print and a book, for example, these will ship in two packages. Some of our products are shipped directly from the vendor. These items are marked “SHIPS DIRECTLY FROM VENDOR” in the product description.

This is a gift. Can you leave out pricing information?

We appreciate you using us as a gift resource! We do not include pricing information on any of our packing slips, just the name of the purchaser.

Do you have a brick and mortar retail location?

No, not yet.

What can I do with this box full of packing peanuts?

Our packing peanuts are biodegradable, and decompose in water. Take whatever you can't reuse, put it in your sink, add water, and they'll dissolve.

Why does The Bitter Southerner have a General Store?

Having a General Store attached to The Bitter Southerner is what allows us to compensate the writers, photographers, and videographers that we work with, and keep The Bitter Southerner running.
