FAQs

When will my item ship?

We ship on weekdays via USPS and get orders out as quickly as we can, but there is a processing time, usually between 1-4 business days, before your item is shipped. Rest assured, our small (but mighty) team is working hard to get your orders shipped as fast as possible.

Where is my order? Can you update me on the status of my order? 

After you checkout, we’ll send an order confirmation to the email address on file with your account. When your order is shipped, you’ll get another confirmation email that includes USPS tracking information. 

My package is marked as delivered but I never received it.  

Oh no! We’re so sorry the delivery hasn’t gone as planned. Oftentimes, misdeliveries are found by kind neighbors and returned — so, we suggest checking to see if they may have received it first. If that doesn’t work out, check to be sure that the address you provided was correct, and then file an inquiry with USPS. We’ll be glad to assist you with a reshipment or refund if they can’t find it for you! 

My membership discount code isn’t working. Can you help? 

Go ahead and make your purchase, then email your order number to  orders@bittersoutherner.com. We’ll be glad to refund you the discount on all eligible products!    

Can I return or exchange my purchase or a gift I received?

Sure thing! Check out our Customer Support page for details on our return policy and process.  

Where can I find tracking information?

We include USPS tracking information in our shipping confirmation emails, which are sent to the email address you entered at checkout. If you have a question about delivery times, or in the event of an issue during delivery, please contact USPS directly. 

Will every item in my order ship in the same package?

Not always! We ship prints and posters in tubes, separately from other items. If you’re worried an item might be missing from your order, we’ll be happy to check and see if they are on the way. Just send us an email atorders@bittersoutherner.com

This is a gift. Can you leave out pricing information? Can you gift wrap it or add a note? 

We appreciate you using us as a gift resource! We do not include pricing information in any of our packages — just the name of the purchaser and the shipping information. We do not offer gift wrap or notes at this time.  

Are all of your T-shirts unisex-sized?

Yep! 

Do you ship outside of the US?

Yes! We use USPS International Shipping rates. 

Do you have a brick-and-mortar retail location?

No, not yet.

Where do you ship from?

Athens, Ga. 

I live in Athens — can I pick up an order? 

We do not offer local pick-up. We hope to offer more ways to shop in the future! 

What can I do with this box full of packing peanuts?

If you don’t want to reuse them — dissolve them! Our packing peanuts are biodegradable and decompose in water. Put it in your sink, add water, and they'll dissolve.

Why does The Bitter Southerner have a General Store?
